Computer Games Development

The specialisation modules for the Computer Games Development course give students an understanding of modern game engines, development practices, programming languages and techniques.

Level 6: Dynamic Gameplay Programming

This module aims to enable students to produce a small individual experimental games project demonstrating a deeper exploration of gameplay using one or more game development tools, exploring development of AI, as well as for different platforms.

Level 5: Gameplay Programming

Building on the programming concepts and skills developed in the first year, this module allows students to develop essential skills in gameplay programming, and system planning and programming using a high level programming language / game development environment.
